SURGICAL PREPARATION

Surgery to remove lumps of Bichetes is usually performed under local anesthesia, but at the request of the patient can also be performed under general anesthesia.

Preparation for general anesthesia: At the time of the surgery the patient must be in perfect health, without the slightest signs of a cold. If there are any changes in the state of health (fever, runny nose, pustular rash on the skin, etc.) on the eve of surgery, the doctor must be informed.

In preparation for surgery, it is advisable to reduce or eliminate the consumption of products containing nicotine. Smoking impairs blood supply to organs and tissues, which can lead to slower wound healing. The diet should be balanced. One week before surgery you should stop drinking alcoholic beverages.

Rehabilitation

For 5 days, you must take the medicines listed in the discharge form. You can sleep in any position from the first day. Three times a day you should rinse your mouth with an aqueous chlorhexidine solution for the first week after surgery. It is forbidden to eat hot, hard, fine food for 7 days after surgery. Do not take hot drinks for 2 weeks after surgery. Rinse your mouth after each meal or drink. Do not drink alcohol for the first 10 days after surgery.

It is desirable to reduce the number of cigarettes smoked a month before surgery and try to smoke less in the first month after. In people who smoke, the rehabilitation process takes 2-3 times longer, and the risk of complications increases.

Sports are allowed 2 weeks after surgery, but the load should be increased gradually. You can go to work the day after surgery, but you need to make this decision according to how you feel. You can drive on the day after surgery. You should not bend over and lift weights in the first two weeks. The child may be carried in your arms a week after surgery. Sex is not prohibited. Flights are allowed from the second day.

Each patient needs to follow a schedule of visits to the doctor: after 7 days, after a month, 6 months, 1 year from the date of surgery.
